The Forest Lodge in the Olinda area of Melbourne is a charming restaurant that oozes atmosphere. Formerly Copperfields, the restaurant has undergone a recent transformation and everything from the stylish decor of the dining space itself – complete with classic white table cloths, timber floor boards and rich colours – through to the wine list and the food menu has a revamped feel. The Forest Lodge is exemplary of modern Australian cuisine, with artisan ingredients and seasonal produce featuring in each dish and the menu being uniquely categorised into introductions, flora, fauna, distractions and conclusions. Beyond the quality food, there’s also a focus on impeccable service and a beautiful space for diners to leisurely enjoy lunch, dinner or anytime in between. You’ll find the restaurant on Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in Olinda. Advanced reservations are essential.
