Industry Ales is your destination in downtown Chicago for delicious food, brews, and cocktails. Featuring a lunch and dinner menu curated by Chef Steven Kowaleski, an in house brewing program from Head Brewer Michael Gretz, and a full craft cocktail program lead by Analena Provost. Stop in to see a nod to Chicago's forgotten history in this new elevated take on the classic brewery. It's located in the heart of the loop, just steps from your favorite iconic Chicago landmarks.

Industry Ales features a dining room, beer hall, as well as two private dining and event spaces. This was the first time we visited this venue: to be honest, we picked it because of its proximity to the Studebaker Theater. My family was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, staff, and food. The lunch specials, available even on a Sunday, offered ample portions for good bang-for-the-buck. Our waiter was attentive and expeditious. A bonus was only spending an hour there, thus giving us ample time to take a leisurely walk to the performance.

The bar tender’s service was excellent even when we were sitting at a dining table. Great food with the fried carrots being outstanding and the beer mussels were excellent.

The ambiance was great, but the salmon roll was inedible. Service was slow but they seemed understaffed. I’d go back but would order other items on the menu!

The mussels were fantastic! Enjoyed my unique beer flight too. Great spot for a happy hour gathering with the combo of a bar/dining section with high tops and a dining section with regular tables a bit away from the bar. We will come back. Was perfect fit for our party of 10.

Really fun atmosphere & approachable, yet sophisticated environment. Well rounded efficient menu offerings with something for almost everyone. The beers exceeded expectations, and the draft lines were perfectly dialed in. This spot is very much needed in the loop. We will be back.

What a fun place to visit. We found the place by looking at nearby places on Apple Maps. When I researched the fare, I was intrigued. This was not like a regular brew-pub. It seemed but more upscale. The link to reserve a table beckoned, and I did. When we arrived we were seated at our reserved high top. The host was very kind and accommodating. He even put on the Rangers/Panthers game for us. We ordered our beers and perused the menu. We decided on ordering the grilled asparagus as an appetizer. The cilantro tahini beckoned! That dish was a great app. The asparagus was tender and not overcooked. It was definitely grill forward and the tahini was reminiscent of hummus. That dish satisfied. Turns out the “host” that seated us was the owner. He asked about how we found them, and shared that. He gave some recommendations on what to order and his favorite brews. The recommended item was the pirogues with a beet puree sour cream. These things rocked! They provided a satisfying heartiness as the next course. We ordered another round and continued to watch. The owner would occasionally stop by and chat. It turns out they hadn’t planned to be as busy as they were. But service never suffered. Our next course was “The Burger.” I am going to say that hands down, it was the best burger I ever ate. It wasn’t just the meaty blend, and the perfect medium. The sous-vide onions with the thick American cheese were the perfect foil for it. We continued to watch the game, and ordered a final round. All of the brews were on point. We watched the game to the end. This is one of the best places I have ever eaten at. Perfect food, perfect beer, and attentive service.

A dedicated fryer for the frites means this celiac sufferer got to have amazing frites! Great cocktails, lots of interesting food options with many GF.

Nice place on Wabash to have a few drinks. Good ales and mixed cocktails. Food kind of average, need to work on the pierogi. Really nice service when we were there.
