Located on the ground floor of W New York – Union Square, Irvington offers a Mediterranean-influenced menu of New American classics highlighting fresh, locally-sourced ingredients from the neighboring Union Square Greenmarket. Irvington's seasonally-driven menu emphasizes locally-sourced ingredients and simple and straightforward presentations, featuring a variety of large format rotisserie-roasted meats and comforting dishes. Irvington features a rotating selection of cocktails, global wine offerings, small-batch spirits, and regionally brewed craft beers. Signature sips include refined twists on classic cocktails, in addition to bottled craft cocktails. Irvington also serves fresh cold-pressed juices and handcrafted coffee from local purveyors Liquiteria and Irving Farm Coffee Roasters.

                                    Restaurant was not busy at all. Took 30 minutes for our drinks to come out and my boyfriends drink was forgotten and took 20 min to come out. Immediately ordered a second round because we knew it would take forever. The food and cocktails were good.

                                    Dined here for my birthday with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant and yet service was slow. My friend asked our busboy for salt and he forgot it. Eventually, our waiter brought it, who was unfriendly during our entire time there. He never smiled. None of the waitstaff wore masks, which was kind of surprising to me. The menu is very limited. Pizza on the menu was not available. We were also told they had no eggs and no potatoes. My friend ordered the hanger steak, which was supposed to come with a "cured yolk" but it didn't since they had no eggs and yet our waiter said it was inside. I ordered the burger, which no longer comes with crispy onions so that was a disappointment. The burger was very ordinary. I couldn't even taste the cheddar and I think the meat had gristle in it. Not worth $20. Since I had indicated we were celebrating my birthday when I made the reservation, I was hoping they would bring out a complimentary dessert. When it was clear they were not going to bring any, we decided to order the banana bread brownies. It is only one of two desserts on the menu and comes with vanilla ice cream and fudge sauce. The brownies were not worth $13. Actual banana bread would have been better. I would not recommend this restaurant.

                                    The service was very slow. Took 1 hour to get food. Didn't bring tea for 20 minutes. We had to to go the food.

                                    Delicious food, not super expensive but small portions compared to similar dishes at other restaurants. Service good but a bit slow but willing to overlook during a pandemic and a tropical storm (which was occurring outside).
