At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment. In addition to our menu, our chefs prepare a varied assortment of daily specials that always add an element of interest to our every-day offerings.

    From the valley to the hostesses to a fabulous young lady, Emily D, who served our party…the entire staff was warm, friendly, attentive and an all around pleasure. The food was its usual excellent quality and preparation. The pistachio crusted hogfish was excellent. The cedar plank salmon was prepared as requested…a touch shy of medium. And the sous vide double pork chop with a racer sauce was moist, tender and wonderfully flavorful. Island Way Grill is always a treat…and the bartender senses a generous pour!

    Was not impressed with food offerings. Other than carving station and shrimp, not a lot different than standard breakfast offerings at most motels.

    Always enjoy coming to Island Way Grill. It is one of my favorite places to eat. Our server Debi was attentive and friendly and provided great service. The food is always tasty and the variety of items available would meet the needs of any diner. Looking forward to returning soon.

    We have gone to Island Way several times but this time we were very disappointed. We made the reservation telling them it was for two birthdays. Nothing was said and nothing done. No dessert was brought to the table at the end of the meal. Two of us wanted the hogfish special and went to order it and was told they were out of it. One of us ordered the salmon pinwheel special and it was so small for $35- extremely over priced. Mashed potatoes on three dishes were cold. The service was slow and drinks were not refilled without asking. One guest ordered a chocolate martini and then ordered a second one. This drink came without chocolate like the first one ordered. We mentioned it to the waitress who realized it but did not take it off the check. It was too late to fix. Overall not the best experience and would not rush back.

    I was looking for seafood, and they certainly delivered. My primary complaint is that I had a 5:45 reservation and was not seated until 6:30. I’m not sure what they think having a reservation means. To their credit, they did come around regularly with coconut shrimp for those waiting. Unfortunately, I don’t like coconut, so having another option would have been even better. All that said, once we were seated, everything from then on was outstanding.

    The staff are super friendly and very attentive... and with a prefixe dinner menu for $22 - that can't be beat... it includes salad... bread... an entre and dessert (and wine for $4/glass)... sitting inside or outside - looking out at a marina with the most spectacular sunsets - makes this my fav place to eat!...

    Our service was great and the atmosphere and view out the windows is amazing. The early evening meals are an amazing value….$22 for bread-salad-several choices of entree- and dessert! My husband loved his pork chop, but two other entrees at the table (filet and meatloaf) were just okay. The experience was great / the food only okay.

    Love Island Way Grill. Everyone friendly and very pleasant. Our server, Garrett is the best ever! We’ve had him before and he remembered us. Great personality. Have had others also who were great! Food is excellent
