My Nonna's name was Isola, a wonderful cook who gave me a passion for food and fresh, simple ingredients.

I have vivid memories of my grandmother turning plain bread into amazing desserts, simple apples into incredible fritters sprinkled with a little sugar and honey, and even treating my sunburns with olive oil. Thirty years later, I still savor every meal and moment.

Isola is proud to serve the finest local ingredients, dalla vite, from the vine. I hope you enjoy every bite, plucked from my family tree for your table. Buon appetito!

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant: great pasta, good pizza (crust a touch too thick to my liking), good happy hour, great value for pizza Tuesday, responsive service (special shout out to Olavo). and our favorite lasagna on "Funday" Sunday.

Love this place. Top 3 in LJ. Waiter was fantastic..helped us with some wines with tasting them. Accommodated our health needs. isola is CONSISTENTLY fabulous!

Dinner after the Breeders Cup with friends. Ebert from the apps to dinner to drinks was exceptional. The place was packed at 7:00pm but the service was excellent. The entire staff worked as a collective group, food came out quickly, almost too fast, hot and delicious. Very good value.

Casually comfortable with personal service. Wood fired pizza, incredible taste. We got the Quatro carne pizza, mussels and cacio de pepe pasta. All were delicious.

The food was excellent. But it always is. My dad ordered the carbonara which he proclaimed is the absolute best carbonara he has ever had. I ordered a pizza and the crust was so crispy which is exactly what you want for woodfired pizza. And we were celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday and the restaurant was so kind to sing happy birthday and bring out a tiramisu with a candle ! Thanx !!!

Food was amazing so props to the chefs. Appetiser came out super fast. But when it came to the mains, they took 45 mins to arrive (after prompting). Not to mention people that were seated about 30 mins + after us had already received their mains. After receiving the bill, and waiting 10 mins for the server. One of our party went to expedite the process, only to find them chatting with other wait staff. Near the kitchen. All in all. If you want great food. Come here. If you have deadlines or not much time to crunch. Find an alternative spot.

Food was decent but the restaurant was so hot and loud that it was difficult to have a conversation and enjoy the food. Our server was attentive.
