   My husband and I had a great first experience at ItalX. The service was wonderful; our waitress did a great job recommending menu items and helping us to enjoy the experience. It was a beautiful night weather-wise, so they had the restaurant opened up where we could feel like nice breeze from outside. We will be back!

   Truly the worst pasta carbonara I have ever had. It seemed as if it was in the fridge and reheated in the microwave. However, great service and nice ambiance in the restaurant.

   Delicious and lemony chicken piccata. We had great service and enjoyed our dinner immensley. The location was super nice for us too as we could walk from our hotel.

   I requested that we be sat at a table that we could sit next to one another. That request was granted and we were seated as soon as we walked through the door. From the moment we sat down we were transported to another world. The service was incredible! Adrian, made suggestions, and appeared, as if on mental cue when we needed something. From the layers of depth in flavor, to the authentic olive oil, and individual focaccia, it was magical. The pillows of fried bread, we thought at first were meatballs and the request was miscommunicated. Of course, we quickly discovered our mistake once we bit through the exterior. Adrian laughed with us and was kind enough to translate the words in English. The pasta was just as impressive and we shared it together. We wanted we hah room for a cannoli. We were so glad that we did, because it was heavenly. We wanted to taste the espresso, but it was late, so we had to pass. It was bellissima esperienza! We were surprised at how reasonable the price was, compared to the fine dining experience and impeccable service. We will not only be back, but encourage others to experience it for themselves!

   We took a chance, being strangers to the city. The website looked good and we were not disappointed. Our server, Jesus M, was adequately attentive without being overbearing, and cheerfully accommodated our requests for slight modifications to the menu. The food was excellent: soup, salads, veal marsala, chicken piccata, and the chocolate dessert. We would definitely come back next time we're in Lexington. As someone who tries to eat gluten-free, I was only sightly disappointed that the only GF option was the gnocchi - which was very good at an additional $3, but there are many gluten-free noodles available now and I would gladly pay a premium to have them, as I suspect others who want gluten-free noodles would do.

   We loved this experience and the service we received. The GM, Chris, was beyond accommodating to our team who had a faculty recruit alongside us. He and his team were customer focused, professional, and knowledgeable in every way. We are so impressed and our team cannot wait to come back. It is clear that he has a well-trained team that never let us go unnoticed, and they were very structured and organized. Thank you for the great service and food!
