Located on the third floor of B.B. King's Blues Club overlooking historic Beale Street you will find Itta Bena "A unique delta experience". Whether entering from our private Second Street entrance or walking through the secret hall from inside B.B. King's Blues Club, Itta Bena is sure to capture your senses. The experience is further heightened when you step inside and find yourself surrounded by rich wood floors, vaulted ceilings, deep golden hued chandeliers and the faint sound of the bustling street below. Touching all the senses, we enrich your evening by offering a delta inspired menu of robust flavors and clean presentation. Itta Bena is a complete overwhelming of the senses that you must experience for yourself.

                    The food ... oh... the food is amazing! The ambience is delightfully old school, intimate, and comfortable, the waitstaff attentive and personable. we loved it.

                    This somewhat hidden (if that is possible on a busy tourist thoroughfare) restaurant is a pleasure - food was good, across the board, and the space makes you feel like a guest in an old Memphis jazz club. Great meal!

                    The ambience was lovely and our drinks, appetizer (the crab-stuffed avocado), entrees (definitely try the pork chop), and our server John (great suggestions) were all top-notch. The desserts were good - good enough that we ate every bite - but the one thing I found a bit annoying was the thumping that came through from downstairs once in a while. I was sitting by the window and seemed to be the only one bothered by it, so maybe there was a speaker or amp right below. Overall a great experience, and we’d definitely go again and recommend.

                    Fabulous service, fabulous food, fabulous mood! The She Crab soup was point on. The filet Mignon was fantastic! The short ribs were amazing! The before and after dinner drinks were delicious! The mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were excellent! Nothing disappointing at Itta Bena’s!

                    We no longer live in Memphis so this was a must stop during a short trip. It was as amazing as I remembered. Best restaurant in Memphis.

                    Always a great time at Itta Bena. Great service and terrific food. Fantastic place to go before a Grizz game. Great place for date night or for any celebration.

                    Overall, a very bad experience. We got there early to have plenty of time before our concert at the Orpheum so wasn't to crowded. Drinks & food took forever. Took 30-40 mins just to get our dinner...by the time I got my $58 filet it was well, well done & not edible. I ordered it med-rare & most likely sat under heat lamp for 30 mins. My wife's dinner was good but our mac n cheese side came to table as she was finishing her dinner. I sent back my steak (I never send food back) and with everything taking so long I had no choice but to skip getting another steak due to our concert starting soon. No one even acknowledged the poor service or terrible food. Needless to say, we won't be going back.
