We provide the only true Japanese Izakaya style eating experience in Noosa. We are located in the popular and fast growing area of Arcadia St, Noosa Heads.
Izakaya ATE is a casual Japanese eatery where people come with friends and love ones to share food, drink and have a great time.
“ATE” (reads”ah-teh”) in Japanese means “appetiser”.Izakaya ATE offers finger licking, tasty dishes that go perfectly with our beautiful selection of drinks we have on offer. We offer a wide selection of Japanese and international drinks including beer, sake, shochu, wine, umeshu, whisky, original cocktails and lots more.

Unbelievable, the had the audacity to turn off the lights and start cleaning and closing the establishment while we were in the middle of our meal. It was 8.15pm. No respect, no customer service. On top food was bland and underwhelming and pretty processes no matter what the blabber. The octopus balls were a disgusting mush of carbs with no to little protein.

We had the Bento box, reasonably priced and value for money. Very enjoyable and cute little tucked away place. Will definately be back :)-

Amazing staff, great service. Steak was very chewy. The seafood curry was amazing but came with very small serving of rice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal; great flavors and all our favourite dishes on the menu. Love the gyoza, okonomiyaki and yakiniku. Would recommend.

Everything about Izakaya ATE was fantastic. Best Karaage chicken ever!! I loved the Mum’s curry, and my wife enjoyed here beef teppanyaki. We will definitely return to try other items from the menu.

Service was terrible, waited 20 minutes for a drinks menu, took them 30 minutes to take food menu. when we went to order they had run out of the beer we ordered and some of the menu items. Food was very fatty and not very authentic.

Terrible menu. No sushi at a Japanese restaurant is probably a red flag. The food was very average and everything tasted the same.
