The Izgara Restaurant is the best place to try mediterranean cuisine.
A nice restaurant for those who want to taste traditional cuisine without having to fly. Authentic flavours and delectable sweets are what make London the Legendary. Observing the chefs working the grill and hearing the meats sizzling on the heat will give you a sense of the actual activity!. Authentic Turkish food will be served at our restaurants, providing you with a sense of the country's culture and taste. We aim to communicate our narrative through the food we serve and to provide fresh food, high-quality food, and friendly service to our customers.

At our Northwood restaurant, we hope to offer authentic Turkish cuisine so you may enjoy our delectable and unique culinary delights while your mind and heart are travelling to Turkey.

    Chick peas, tahini, lemon juice and garlic

    • Cacik

      Cucumber, mint and a hint of garlic in creamy yogurt

      • Babaganoush

        Char-grilled aubergine, yogurt, garlic and tahini, sharpened with lemon

        • Tabbouleh

          Finely chopped parsley, crushed wheat, pepper, pickled cucumber, spring onion, tomatoes, lemon, cucumber, olive oil, herbs, pomegranate dressing and pomegranate seeds

          • Purple Beetroot

            Finely chopped beetroot with green apple mixed with creamy yogurt and garlic

            • Yaprak Sarma

              Stuffed wine leaves with rice, seasoned with cinnamon

              • Marinated Mix Olives

                A selection of green and black olives with mushrooms and roasted peppers marinated in lemon, garlic and olive oil

                Hot Starters

                • Falafel

                  Chick peas, carrots, green, yellow and red peppers, onions, garlic, coriander, celery, broad beans, lightly fried. Served with houmous

                  • Courgette Fritters

                    A wonderful combination of courgette, dill, scallions and seasonal herbs. Served with garlic yogurt

                    • Halloumi Grill

                      Grilled Cypriot cheese. and a garnish of tomatoes and rocket

                      • Cigar Borek

                        Cigar shaped filo pastry filled with feta chees and parsley. Served with sweet chilli

                        • Patlican Tava

                          Sliced aubergine cooked with peppers and finished with yogurt and special Izgara sauce

                          • Adana Kofte

                            (Spicy hot option available) Spicy minced lamb char-grilled on a skewer and served with salad

                            • Lamb Shish

                              Marinated cubes of lamb char-grilled on a skewer and served with salad

                              • Chicken Shish

                                Marinated cubes of chicken breast chargrilled on a skewer and served with salad

                                • Chicken Wings

                                  (Spicy hot option available) Char-grilled chicken wings. Served with salad

                                  • Chicken on the Bone

                                    (Spicy hot option available) Marinated chicken leg char-grilled on a skewer and served with salad

                                          Oven baked aubergine filled with peppers, onions and garlic cooked in a special Izgara tomato sauce. Served with rice

                                            Aubergine, red, yellow and green peppers, chick peas, garlic, onions, green peas, potatoes, carrots, courgette covered with bechamel sauce and cheddar cheese. Served with rice

                                                    This is a great little restaurant, decorated beautifully. The food is very tasty and there’s always plenty of it. The staff are very good although I always feel a little hurried between courses. Overall, this is a wonderful place to visit for lunch or dinner.

                                                    A lovely experience. The food and wine was amazing with very good service from the staff . A busy Valentine night but the staff was still very attentive and there was no long waits for food or drinks . Highly recommend this restaurant and price was reasonable for all that we ate and drank .

                                                    Great lunch presented and served perfectly with friendly service which was perfectly balanced for attentiveness without being obtrusive The set lunch meal offered great value and the quality was still far better than any other Turkish restaurants in the Nortbwood to Hatch End area

                                                    A very welcoming experience from Elias who checked in on us in a friendly and efficient manner. We were also served by a delightful lady too who placed our orders. She explained the menu well and her aim was to please. The restaurant has a lovely ambience with tables not too close together. Izgara is beautifully decorated in a warm comfortable setting. Overall, great staff, lovely ambience and delicious food! 5 stars 🌟
