    We were disappointed in the lack of menu options. We have been dining here for years and just feel the menu is quite limited.

    From the time of arrival at 5:50PM for a 6:00PM reservation, the hostesses took 10 minutes to determine where to seat us despite many tables being open. Server was inattentive and required us to call for him several times throughout our dinner. Server was pushing for us to order cocktails from their drink menu and we had to ask for the dinner menu and specials. Food was average at best. Appetizers came quickly, pasta was bland and not flavorful, Perhaps the best part of our meal was the Crème brûlée. We won't be going back anytime soon.

    Jackie Rey’s appears online to be a five star restaurant, in reality it’s a relaxed dive bar. The menu ironically has little seafood. I paid for 3 shrimps and cocktail sauce 30 dollars, a glass of wine 14.00 and a mock tail 8.00 gave our waiter 20 percent tip, a total of 60.00. I was not impressed with the menu, to be fair I didn’t taste anything cooked there.nothing seemed appetizing, I thought it was over priced. Service from staff was excellent. The dessert menu didn’t have much to choose from either. Moving on…

    We had a great experience at Jackie Rey's! The Ono was ono as was the seafood pasta and our kampachi app. We will definitely be back!

    Great food, good casual ambiance. Great service. A good way to close out our stay on the Big Island.

    Our server, Etu, was FABULOUS! Knowledgeable, engaging and just great! The food was well prepared with a great presentation. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
