    My favorite restaurant in Portland by far. We were a party of 16 with 3 kids and 2 babies and everything was amazing, all the dishes coming at the same time, really delicious as always. Kids had a blast, adults have enjoyed well made drinks and good conversation with no interruptions. Recommend Jake’s for everyone, best place to eat and enjoy great moments in downtown Portland.

    Great dinner after a Xmas concert. Jake’s is decorated festive for the season. The food is always great and the professional staff is awesome.

    Jake's Famous Crawfish is one of our go-to restaurants in Portland. It's been there forever (actually, more than 100 years) and retains its old-world ambiance and service. Servers all wear short, white jackets and are schooled well, so even the younger ones thrive, and there are several true veterans. The food is prepared perfectly and arrives quickly. It's great for a special occasion or with a special friend. It tends to be busy on weekends, so make a reservation.

    Always good with great service. We come here every year for our anniversary. It is a bit pricy but we expect that being in the restaurant with a seasoned waiter. We usually come for lunch or happy hour and experience the same great food and a better price but not the same service as being in the restaurant.

    We had a lovely selection of food from the happy hour menu that was fantastic! Our server was warm and welcoming, making for a great experience.

    One of the recommended restaurants to try when you’re in Portland. I booked it for me and my friends because they were craving for seafood. The interior had a posh but cozy feeling, the staff were amazing and even went above and beyond when we asked her for club recommendations and she gave us a list! The good was phenomenal! We ordered dungeness crab and artichoke dip and wished we had more pita chips because that was a good way to start the meal. For the mains we got the Jake’s Famous Étouffée as I’ve read a lot of rave reviews about it and all I can say is that it deserves all the hype because it was sooo good! We also got the Seafood Fettuccine and it was equally amazing! We enjoyed all the food we got and actually finished everything! Would highly recommend going here.

    Overrated. We went here because the said it was an iconic restaurant of Portland, and decided to have our thanksgiving dinner here. We came on time for our reservations but were seated after 30 mins. While waiting we decided to walk around and the block and we saw that there were several tables available. Our sever obviously wasn’t happy and was rude, kept shouting “what” when we place our order as if he can’t speak and understand us. The food was over priced.

    Once again, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner at Jake's Famous Crawfish. We come her often for dinner and it never disappoints us. Food and service is consistently good. Our server, Charlotte, remembered us from a previous visits and again, did a fabulous job in taking care of us, as well as others, as I observed.
