    I’m a regular at Jaleo and have been enjoying the food there since they opened years ago. Food remains delish. And they’re always adding new dishes to the menu. Today I tried 4 selections I’ve never had before and they were all wonderful: tuna tartar with trout roe cone, fish soup, fried eggplant with honey and Andalusian cheesecake. Sooooooo good.

    I had a lovely birthday experience at Jaleo! The food was inventive and fun, the ambiance was quirky in a good way (we had a working foosball table under the glass we ate on!), and our server Fressia went above and beyond to accommodate my group. The food came out quickly even on a busy weekend and I was really happy they extended their Valentine's Menu (the lava cake and pork with apples were standout dishes for me)! It wasn't the best food I've ever had, but the flavor and texture combinations were delightful and you can tell that the Chefs really are masters at their craft. Hats off to this restaurant for delivering a great meal with grace! I will be back.

    Disappointing. Tasting menu extremely overpriced with lots of salads and cheeses (lower value items). They were out of steak yet still charged the high price. Very slow service.

    Excellent Service. The food was magnificent. Try the octopus, the gambas and patatas bravas. Highly recommended.

    The restaurant was extremely busy and that negatively affected our dinner. We felt very rushed throughout our meal. I wanted the tapas brought one at a time and instead everything came out almost all together. I refused the last tapa as we didn’t want everything at once, as it would get cold while we were eating our other dishes. Also we wanted to take the rest of our wine bottle home, and usually the bottle is put in a sealed bag so there aren’t any issues if we were to get stopped by the police on the way home. We got a bag but it wasn’t sealed. Fortunately we didn’t have any issues on the way home. I think some new waiters were being trained and I felt as though they were hovering, which added to our feelings of being rushed. Fortunately the food was delicious, as usual! That’s why we keep returning to Jaleo!

    We were there as party of 6 to celebrate 2 birthdays - a soon-to-be 26 year old and a soon-to-be 74 year old. We had the same group at about this same time for the same celebration a few years ago so the repeat was great fun. Our waiter Eduardo was excellent - giving us good recommendations and hitting just the right tempo for checking in. The rest of the staff were great too. Quietly slipping in to whisk away dishes, fill water glasses, etc. The food, as always, was delicious and fun to experiment with a few dishes. Ending the meal with 2 fabulous desserts (with candles) for the birthday folks plus coffees and expresso shots was perfect.

    We visited Jaleo for lunch before the theatre and it was perfect. The food was delicious (highly recommend the “cone” appetizers!), the service prompt and attentive, the wait staff helpful and personable, and the noise level low enough that we could easily carry on our conversation. A perfect complement to a theatre date!

    Food was just okay. There were a bunch of mistakes. The gin and tonic came without gin. The cod fritters had chicken. We asked to spread out the pacing, but everything came at once. The fennel salad was mostly cheese. The Brussels salad tasted mostly like ham. The tables were super crowded. I know it was a very busy night, but we were not thrilled
