Javier's Irvine Spectrum serves original Mexican cuisine. Opened in 2004 and located close to the 405 and 5 freeways, the restaurant offers numerous entrees and combo meals. Javier's Irvine Spectrum selects and serves only the freshest ingredients, including sustainable and in-season seafood, natural chicken and center-cut #1 prime Angus beef. Every dish is prepared fresh to order, and guests may sit in the spacious main dining room, on the intimate patio, at the bar or in a private dining area.The dining room is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m. Javier's Irvine Spectrum's full bar is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Reservations are accepted.

    Service was slow. Had to wait for server greeting long time, then request a cocktail menu, then wait again. Reservation was for a special occasion birthday. Disappointing experience. Recommend going newport location if enjoy Javier’s.

    Went to Javiers for a business meeting. Great food and service, but difficult to converse with my client who was sitting directly across from me.

    We came to celebrate a loved one's birthday. Mentioned that in the reservation. Mentioned it about 5 times to the staff who was working on our table. Tables were being put away and they were closing down and we still didn't receive it. Had to approach a manager and let them know I was upset for them to finally bring it to us. Kinda ridiculous for the price point. You'd expect staff to be a bit more attentive. Especially if we are one of the last remaining tables cause staff is closing up the restaurant for the day while we're waiting for dessert. We're tryna leave too lol cause we saw the table right next to us get a much nicer birthday celebration (they didn’t wait for the table to be completely empty to bring out the single scoop of ice cream with a raspberry and a leaf to garnish and had a much more enthusiastic staff to do the birthday celebration) also the vegetarian enchiladas was a hit. Shrimp and crab enchilada was alright. Had Better for half the price.

    This is one of my favorite places to eat. Especially before heading to the improv next door. We went for my buddies 45th birthday and had great food, service, and shots 😋. We will be back as soon as we can afford to. 😆. We've had fajitas a few times which are amazing everytime! But the spare ribs and seafood is always in point.

    This restaurant from the front of the place to the inside is just beautiful. The aesthetic of this place was set up beautifully. The server, waiter and every other person who filled my water every time they saw it get half way was so very nice. The food was very good. Not to spicy and very flavorful. The desert was also very great as well. Most definitely recommending this place to friends and family and will come back.

    I love Javier's. I can get elegantly prepared Mexican dishes outside of the norm. Today, I had Maine Lobster enchiladas. Delicious. Service was top notch. Our whole party was happy. We live in Florida, but Javier's is a must when come west.
