Javier's Irvine Spectrum serves original Mexican cuisine. Opened in 2004 and located close to the 405 and 5 freeways, the restaurant offers numerous entrees and combo meals. Javier's Irvine Spectrum selects and serves only the freshest ingredients, including sustainable and in-season seafood, natural chicken and center-cut #1 prime Angus beef. Every dish is prepared fresh to order, and guests may sit in the spacious main dining room, on the intimate patio, at the bar or in a private dining area.The dining room is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m. Javier's Irvine Spectrum's full bar is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Reservations are accepted.

Made reservations month in advance, they tried to stick our table in the waiting area! Than sat us outside in the cold with our 75+ year old guests. They than told me that everything on the menu is precooked with onions and they couldn't get me anything unless I wanted fish. So everything is apparently pre-made and they couldn't accommodate me. Ruined my wife's birthday. Will never go back.

Perfect evening to catch up with some dear friends in town visiting! It’s been awhile since we’ve been dined at Javier’s! The food and atmosphere was awesome! Sidenote: PLEASE BRING JAVI’S BACK TO the JOHN WAYNE (SNA) AIRPORT!!!!!!! We miss it sooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are a vegetarian or vegan you have to let the waiter know. I have been here a few times and just now learned their vegetable enchilada comes in a sauce that has chicken broth. I think the menu needs to be more informative or the waiter needs to ask more questions. I had the vegan vegetable enchiladas and they were delicious! We ordered 3 different kinds of margaritas and we were disappointed in all of them. Service was good but they were also very busy so I understand. Ambiance was great!

I had such an amazing experience. I celebrated my birthday and the staff was so accommodating. I truly appreciate the extent you all went to ensure my entire family sat together. It was important to me and you saw that. Amazing customer service and amazing food and drinks! 5s across the board easily!

Very nice ambiance, service average to good, food marginal, about the same as normal priced Mexican food restaurants, 9$ for non-alcoholic beer and 28$ for a salad and 28$ for a quesadilla? I guess it's great if you can get it. Never will return.

Server was positive and knowledgeable. Previously had been to Javier’s and enjoyed the food. Unfortunately this time was not the same. While there are a few vegetarian options, the green sauce and rice are made with chicken stock and thus not available as options anymore for vegetarians which was a disappointment. Additionally the food was quite salty. Overall not the delicious food I remember. Also requested at high chair at time of reservation and upon checking in for reservation but never got one.
