The first & only steakhouse of its kind in the Louisville area, Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse serves only dry-aged USDA prime beef. While steak is the foundation of the menu, Jeff Ruby's promises to please seafood lovers as well with its raw/sushi bar & seafood entrees.
Jeff Ruby regulars will be pleased to know that their favorite signature items from the Cincinnati restaurants will be well represented in Louisville. The bone-in filet, the 7 cheese baked macaroni, creamed spinach, truffle flake, & of course Jeff Ruby's secret recipe cheesecake are all staples of the Louisville menu.
Styled after the great NY steakhouses of the 1930s & '40s, Jeff Ruby's promises to be as pleasing visually as it is to the palate. French art-deco design, plush mohair upholstery, hand-selected antique furniture, and cinematic crystal chandeliers anchored by a 1950s-era antique are featured in the Starz series Magic City and the 32-foot wall of wine.

Incredible service and delicious food!! We came to Jeff Ruby’s to celebrate a birthday and from the moment we sat down the attention to detail and level of service was impeccable. Matt our server went out of his way to explain the menu and ensure everyone at the table was well taken care of. He kept the drinks filled and was present during all stages of our meal offering anything that we might need! His warm and inviting demeanor made us feel at home for this celebratory evening! His assistant Emily was also very helpful and consistently attended to little details. Request Matt and Emily for your service team and you will have an excellent time!! Special shout out to the Australian ribeye cap and the ruby roll!! Absolutely delicious!!

My wife and I had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary! Darrel took care of us and did an outstanding job. We will be going back in the future and would love to have Darrel again. The atmosphere, along with the food and drinks we ordered were next level!

Beyond excellent service! Delicious food. We had sushi roll, crab cake, arugula salad, steak with lobster gnocchi, brussel sprouts and poblano cornbread. Finished up with espresso chocolate cake. Portions were perfectly sized. Highly recommend cocktail Mingling Mezcal. Great experience.

We had a lovely time. The food was fantastic and we loved Matthew and Emily. We sat at a table in the dining area and it felt a little bit like we were in the middle of traffic with a lot of hustle and bustle around us. It didn’t ruin our experience- just made us want to request a booth next time for date night. :)

What a fun night! We had excellent service (Kelsey and Chris took great care of us)! We had a show at 9pm and they made sure we had a great experience and made it to our show. The restaurant had such a fun atmosphere and the food was delicious!
