The first & only steakhouse of its kind in the Louisville area, Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse serves only dry-aged USDA prime beef. While steak is the foundation of the menu, Jeff Ruby's promises to please seafood lovers as well with its raw/sushi bar & seafood entrees.
Jeff Ruby regulars will be pleased to know that their favorite signature items from the Cincinnati restaurants will be well represented in Louisville. The bone-in filet, the 7 cheese baked macaroni, creamed spinach, truffle flake, & of course Jeff Ruby's secret recipe cheesecake are all staples of the Louisville menu.
Styled after the great NY steakhouses of the 1930s & '40s, Jeff Ruby's promises to be as pleasing visually as it is to the palate. French art-deco design, plush mohair upholstery, hand-selected antique furniture, and cinematic crystal chandeliers anchored by a 1950s-era antique are featured in the Starz series Magic City and the 32-foot wall of wine.

Ruby’s has great food and ambiance. Made reservations for a team holiday celebration we were greeted warmly and seat when the majority of the party was present. Our server was lovely however I think she was stretched too thin. As a result the pacing of our meal was off / delayed. I'm not sure if the bar too was overwhelmed but empty glasses and extreme time lags between beverage orders. Over all tasty food but the pacing was unfortunate for such an expensive meal.

My wife and I dined here for her birthday. Staff was very attentive, friendly and provided recommendations at all levels of the meal. The ambiance is really great and the food is excellent. Our waiter Jonathan actually tested our baked potatoes and sent one back due to it not meeting his standard which I thought was very impressive. Our meal was sushi roll, couple of oysters, split cowboy ribeye, baked potatoes and Brussels. Everything was fantastic. Sides are huge and totally sharable.

The atmosphere, food and music was just wonderful! They are a little expensive but for a special occasion … they can’t be beat!
