Jocko’s Steakhouse is family owned and a longtime Central Coast favorite. Our family’s
hospitality roots date back to 1925, or so the story goes. Jocko’s is legendary for hand cut aged
steaks grilled over an open fire of red oak coals. A style of cooking native to the area that dates
to the Spanish Rancheros. We offer an extensive dinner menu serving a variety of steak cuts,
ribs, pork chops, chicken, seafood, steak burgers, specialty sandwiches and more. Jocko’s offers an extensive wine list, a broad assortment of cocktails and both draft and bottled beers. The specific brands and serving costs are available at the restaurant.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years we always have great food and a great time there there have some changes since Covid but overall still great food.

Food took an hour and a half to get to our table. Every single steak was way overcooked (well done instead of medium rare). No apology for the long wait.

My family of 4 had dinner at Jockos on a Friday. It’s typically loud inside Jockos. That’s the norm. We enjoy Jockos steaks so we tolerate the noise level. We were seated next to a table of party of 10. Then it got very very loud. Kids and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. LOL! Be prepared to wait for your steak at least 30-40 minutes. Just an FYI. The food is delicious.

We ordered the twenty oz. Spencer steak. It seemed as if the grill master had not allowed it to rest long enough before he sent it out to the table. Also, there was a cap on the steak that was tough and gristly. We've been here many times before, but this was the first time we had a spencer steak that was not melt-in-your-mouth tender. This was a bit of a disappointment, since we look forward to our meals at Jocko's as a special treat,

We got the 20 ounce Spencer x two again. I tried the hash brown casserole. 2 805s. Just delicious and as usual brought some home.

We had a reservation and were seated after a few minutes. We were impressed with the portions and pricing and that we got a full course meal without having to order things a la carte. I ordered the 20 oz filet and my son ordered the 20 oz rib eye. Both were cooked medium rare as requested and were perfect. We had great service and can’t wait to come back again!!

It’s perfect as always. They can do no wrong. Steaks are cooked to perfection. No extra frills. Just good hearty all American food cooked exactly the way you want it. We have never had a bad experience. We will stop at Jockos anytime Wwe are in a 50 mile radius.
