Jocko’s Steakhouse is family owned and a longtime Central Coast favorite. Our family’s
hospitality roots date back to 1925, or so the story goes. Jocko’s is legendary for hand cut aged
steaks grilled over an open fire of red oak coals. A style of cooking native to the area that dates
to the Spanish Rancheros. We offer an extensive dinner menu serving a variety of steak cuts,
ribs, pork chops, chicken, seafood, steak burgers, specialty sandwiches and more. Jocko’s offers an extensive wine list, a broad assortment of cocktails and both draft and bottled beers. The specific brands and serving costs are available at the restaurant.

I had watched a review on YouTube from Mark Weints on the best barbecue on the central coast where Jockos featured for it red oak coal fired barbecue. I also had mentioned it to my supervisor who’s from the area. And mentioned to me that he highly recommended it and that he always goes back when he is in town, which is about twice a year. I can tell you this place does not disappoint. The food was excellent. Our waiter was awesome and amazing and gave very good recommendations. Anytime I’m in this area. I will make it a point to come eat here. I highly recommend making this a restaurant to frequent. Make sure to make your reservations cause the place gets packed after about 5:30 PM.

We arrived early for our reservation. Our reservation was for 3:15 p.m. and we’re seated in the bar area right away… no waiting. The waitress was excellent and checked on us regularly, but not in a way where we felt rushed at all. Overall experience was great and the food was exceptionally Delicious. We had the 8 ounce ribeye meal and 8 ounce ribeye salad. Before our meal we were served ice cold pickles, which were very tasty. This meal was definitely worth the 2 hour Drive. We will definitely be back again.

Food was great. Being Valentine day we had a very loud table behind us. Once they left it was normal. Service was not the best other table seated after is were served before us.

Went for Valentines Day. It was super busy but that did not affect the quality of food or service. I waited less than 5 min from the time I made my reservation. The food and drink were out in a timely manner, without delay and the steaks we ordered were incredible, as always. 10/10 would definitely go back again.

You can't beat their Spencer steak. Good service. Fun to watch the steaks being cooked Santa Maria style!

Jocko’s was outstanding as always. The 20oz filet is really good and so worth the price. We had excellent service and even got Girl Scout cookies while waiting for our meals. We sat down for our 7:00pm reservation as soon as we checked in. The large group next to us was a little loud, but overall it was a great experience.
