When we arrived the restraunt was failry empty. I ave the hostes if we could possibly be seated at a booth. She denied my request because the booths were reserved for larger parties. I ordered my steak medium rare (pink no purple). My steak came very rare. I sent it back and by the time I received my steak back my wife was already finished with her meal. We ordered another round of drinks prior to returning my steak and never received the drinks. I asked our waitress about the drink and she said that she was sorry that the bar was busy and promptly returned with our drinks. Once we finished with our meals we sat there for 20 minutes before someone came and cleared our plates from out 2 top. As I sat waiting through out my dinner I noticed groups of waiters and managers talking and giggling for multiple durations. I really was less than thrilled for the quality of service or attentiveness. I expected more from quality in the food preparation and the service for the price. Nice ambiance though.

Honestly 5 servers came up to is 5 times with incorrect orders. It wasnt a good experience having to turn people awat 5 times!

The hostess was unfriendly and so was our waitress. The restaurant was freezing so we had to keep out coats on. Nobody mentioned happy hour. It was like we were a nuisance just being there. Our food was cold and took awhile. Not exactly a comfy place on a rainy day.

I'll start off by saying that I'd go to this restaurant again. It was busy on the night we went, so it was loud. We opted to sit on the dining room side rather than the lounge side. We made reservations and the host was friendly and seated us immediately. The dining room side was a mix of booths and individual tables. Both options seemed outdated and plain. We were greeted by our server quickly and we put in our drink orders. We received our drinks in a timely manner and gave our server our order. The roasted corn guacamole was delicious. My son devoured the ahi club sandwich and claimed it was amazing. I had the steak and sushi, the steak was prepared perfectly and was very tasty, the sushi was average. My wife ordered a sushi roll which was good with the dipping ponzu sauce. The dessert, warm doughnuts, were so good. I would definitely recommend JOEY Burrard if your looking for something a little more than casual dining.

the pasta with lobster was only okay. for 56 bucks it should have been better the shrimps were old frozen shrimps pale in colour the pasta sauce could have been jarred. ?? the tofu lettuce wrap was good. you changed the recipe from when ypu first opened in calgary where i first experieced joeys the greeting champagne was a nice touch

Worst service ever. Finished our apples before our drinks arrived. Waitress had major attitude every time my son asked for a water refill. Won't be returning.
