I recently had the pleasure of dining at JOEY, and it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my visit was exceptional. I was greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the evening. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. When my steak wasn’t cooked to my liking, the team handled the situation with such professionalism and grace. They quickly resolved the issue and even went a step further by offering me a gift card for my next visit, which was a delightful surprise. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines great food, good vibes, and outstanding service so effortlessly. Even with reservations and arriving on time we waited about 20 minutes to be sat in what felt like a porch area. Our waiter was slow and inattentive. The food was cold. Overall we had a bad experience. I won’t be back.

The food took forever, and it was not that great. We waited about an hour for the appetizer. I did love the steak with ravioli. The drinks were horrible. The restaurant itself was very nice.

OMG! Joey DTLA stole my heart today. The service was out of this world amazing, the complimentary champagne was simply chefs kiss, and oh my god those hibachi wings are outstanding! Thanks joey for being my go to!

We at at Joey DTLA last night for a special occasion and had the best time! It was our first time here (at any Joey restaurant) and were so pleasantly surprised! Our server, Sierra, was awesome! She took such good care of us and made us feel so welcome!!! The ambiance was exactly what we wanted! We knew we were in a nice restaurant, but the city vibe was epic. Every table in the restaurant would have a great view of the city lights and urban vibe of DTLA. The food quality was off the charts. Our lettuce cup starter had so much flavor, my main entrée of the Poke Bowl felt like a step up from other restaurants with tons of flavor, crispy elements, and really unique rice. The other entrée on the table was the butter chicken (even had a tofu option) and it was like we were in an Indian kitchen! We were super impressed with the quality of food. Prices felt a little steep, but it was justified by the ambience and outstanding service. Will definitely return!!!

Being seated was quick, we got our complimentary champagne & our waitress India took our order for appetizers and drinks and then went missing for 30-40 minutes. The appetizers was good drinks but the service was awful. I even asked someone else to take our order but no one ever came by. We left an our later and never got to order our main entrees or dessert. We didn’t get checked up on or anything. I wish we had a better experience.
