JOEY Restaurants marries iconic hospitality with a handcrafted, locally and globally-inspired menu from award-winning chefs, to bring an unparalleled guest experience. Instead of just one chef, JOEY has a whole team of celebrated Executive Chefs bringing you an experience you can't get anywhere else. JOEY Uptown, boasts an open concept dining room that spans over 10,288 square feet, including a temperature controlled patio equipped with an outdoor bar. Stylized prints from Texas-based artist Jon Flaming, and animated LED portraits by Julian Opie, bring life and lightness to the entire space. This location fits Houston’s iconic food scene like a glove.

The food was subpar and the service was worse. Remington was our server and we will never return to this location. It was also my fiancé birthday and the entire birthday recognition was very lazy and unthoughtful. The food was bad, the service was awful, and the entire experience was terrible. We won’t forget or return to Joey’s.

Anthony, our server, delivered exceptional hospitality and demonstrated excellent knowledge of the menu. Sebastian, the manager, personally visited our table to address a minor error with one of the entrées and apologized sincerely. To make up for the inconvenience, they graciously provided two complimentary desserts, which were absolutely delicious. Overall, it was an outstanding dining experience, and I can’t wait to return!

Very nice place. Very diverse yet classy. Enjoyed my birthday dinner. Should have a birthday menu item or something special to pick

Frequent diners at this location but unfortunately worst dining experience . Orders appies & entree - arrived at same time . Katsu chicken salad was missing the chicken which took another 20 mins to arrive . Service was poor, we really didn’t get any , we had to ask for our bill 3 x & also asked 2 managers for bill - finally stood up to leave and a bill arrived. No real reaction from management apart from comping the chicken & appies but didn’t appear to be of any major concern .

We came for a birthday dinner and it was a terrible experience. When we came in for our reservation our table wasn’t ready but was going to be canceled if we were more than 15 minutes late. We didn’t get offered the champagne on entry, we had to ask. When it came to placing an order it took forever for that to even happen. The steak wasn’t up to par what’s so ever. The only thing that was semi good that we ordered was the sushi. We asked for to go boxes for our food and the waitress asked if we wanted it boxed, we replied yes. After we paid we noticed she never brought the food back. We had to find her and stop her to ask where was it. We will not be returning. Birthday dinner was not a success thanks to Joey
