Went here to try someplace new for a birthday dinner. Nobody to greet us at the front, just the bartender who also acted as the waiter. We were the only ones there. Tried a booth first but it was cramped so we moved to a table and it felt cramped also. Put a couple of high tops together and that was good. We could be picky because we were the only ones in the restaurant. Noise level was limited to the TV playing above the bar. The bartender/waiter did his best to make the experience enjoyable and was tipped accordingly.
Food selection was OK but not what I expected from someplace called an italian steakhouse. My 3 guests got the chicken parm, my wife got chicken alfredo, and I got the steak risotto with mushrooms and spinach. My risotto was flavorful but there was a lot of water at the bottom of the dish. The other diners said their meal was good.
I travelled a lot before retiring so I understand that some hotel restaurants can be a gamble, but this one was not up to my expectations. Hopefully they do better business at other times or they won't be around long. Cost was overpriced for the quality and atmosphere. There are too many better places to spend this kind of money. Won't be able to recommend and no plans to return.
