   Went for brunch and they were completely out of their $3 brunch champagne bomb. Sat outside waiting for waiter to serve us for 10 minutes when the restaurant was empty. Children running around the play area climbing the wall running across right next our table. Had one drink and went somewhere else.

   Food was pretty good. The service was pretty slow. Food came out quick just hard to get servers attention. All good though!

   Made a reservation for 10pm. When we arrived they told us they were closed and they blamed Open Table. When we showed them our reservation this primarily sushi restaurant told us we could eat there but they wouldn’t serve us sushi. What a joke we left. Terrible experience.

   As a whole, it felt like Joi was more interested in looking like a fancy, chic restaurant than actually being one. I paid almost $40 for a totally flavorless New York strip, and almost $20 for a totally flavorless bowl of Ramen. That said, when we complained that the food was bad our waiter was nice enough to comp it.

   Great selection, we ordered about 10 items and everything tasted great. The service was also excellent, very accommodating and attentive.

    I’m honestly disappointed to say that our experience at Joi Asian Bistro was far from positive. We were seated quickly, but after that, it was as if we became invisible. Despite there being plenty of staff and the restaurant not being busy, we waited over 25 minutes without anyone coming to take our order, offer water, or even acknowledge our table. To make matters worse, we had two kids with us, including a small toddler who could have really used some water. It was baffling that no one seemed interested in providing even the most basic service. We watched as other tables were taken care of, but no one approached us, checked in, or showed any indication that they valued our presence. Frustrated and feeling completely ignored, we ultimately decided to walk out. A restaurant’s success hinges on both food and service, and sadly, Joi Asian Bistro failed on the latter. We were really looking forward to trying their food, but this experience made it clear that customer care isn’t a priority. After this visit, we won’t be returning, nor would we recommend this place to any friends or family. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously, but unfortunately, we’re not willing to take the risk again.
