Tristen was a thoughtful and friendly server. I was treating my best friend for her birthday and was joined by a friend who lives in Huntington Beach. She was unaware of Jolie as she mentioned the location has been various restaurants before. The birthday girl and I had the furikake crusted sea bass and the HB resident had the lobster roll. She ate the whole thing so I am assuming she liked it. The sea bass dish was amazing!! Flaky and flavorful. The birthday girl also had the clam chowder and she said she was pleasantly surprised that there was more clams than potatoes. Tristen kindly noted that there was a birthday being celebrated and brought a yummy choc cake with scoop of vanilla for us to share. The young man who sat us was friendly and asked if we wanted to change from inside to outside. It was a sunny day but cool and we senior citizens did not bring outerwear for the brisk air so asked if we could be inside but closest to the patio to enjoy the ocean view. He gave us a comfy booth. Parking as you can imagine at popular PCH and Main is not cheap but fortunately the restaurant does validate if you park in the garage below. Whew, that validation saved me a chunk of money. And I especially appreciate we weren't given any sign to leave after 90 minutes so friends for 54 years were able to thoroughly enjoy the meal and time together.
