At Jônt, we are a team of young and inspired chefs taking down the walls between kitchen and guests and taking you on a culinary adventure. Immerse yourself in a progressive tasting menu focusing on the simple, yet luxurious, ingredients around the world with deep inspiration from Japanese cuisine.

We challenge the seasons, navigate beyond the limits of time and break with tradition— getting playful with process and tricky with techniques at the intersection of place and possibility.

Jônt has been recognized with two Michelin stars since 2021.

    Dining at jont was an amazing experience and the food was so delicious and we were stuffed by the end of the journey! The foh and boh was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was incredible! The meal and dinner was memorable and special thanks to the staff for making our dinner a little more personalized. <3

    We had a great night. We have been to other 2 and 3 star Michelin restaurants but chef Ryan and his team exceeded all expectations. The food was fun and good. The service was attentive and engaging but not obtrusive. We will definitely be back.

    Fantastic evening! Impressive to see the team work together as they prepare the experience throughout the evening. So impressed by the execution and attention to detail. Food and wine pairing was top notch. I love that they escort you to another room for dessert. They made our anniversary celebration unforgettable!

    To me, the best restaurant in DC. Food was beyond reproach. The service was top class. And it didn’t have the stuffiness you’d think a place at this price point would have.

    Jônt delivers an unforgettable dining experience with meticulous attention to detail and outstanding customer service. 🌟 Their Valentine’s Day menu was spectacular, filled with lively surprises during the desserts that made the evening truly special. 🍰✨ Every bite was absolutely delicious, and I loved receiving a commemorative menu as a thoughtful keepsake. That said, a couple of things stood out: 🎶 The music choices were… puzzling. Some songs felt completely out of place for such an upscale experience. Not sure what vibe they were aiming for, but it didn’t quite fit the ambiance. 🍽️ The menu size was a struggle. I knew it would be a lot of food, but I was completely full halfway through. I can’t imagine how some guests opt for extra bites—I couldn’t even enjoy dessert properly. A shorter menu option would be a fantastic addition. Honestly, if the menu remains this extensive, I wouldn’t return despite how amazing the food was. It’s just too much, even for a tasting experience. But if you’re ready for an epic culinary journey and can handle the volume, Jônt is truly top-tier. 🥂
