   Josephine’s impressed from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed yet refined night out as a Family. The service was top-notch, friendly, and attentive. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.

   Always a wonderful experience at Josephine’s! It’s like stepping back in time to the days of elegant white tablecloth restaurants. Piano player in the background, excellent acoustics so that you can hear each other at the table. Menu choices were all outstanding the bacon bahn mi app was unbelievably delicious and creative. Black cod and Barramundi cooked perfectly. Attentive service by Kyle- thank you!

   What a lovely dinner. Tucked away in in a cozy basement thrives a truly luxurious vintage dining experience. The service? Top notch. Attentive with phenomenal recommendations (I love not having to think about my wine pairings) They have the right amount of let you be to enjoy the ambiance and your food and the attention to make sure you have a stellar dining experience. The food? Oh my GOODNESS. We got the antelope, it was divine. Rich, succulent, and balanced. Think steak but better. The oysters? Clean, juicy, bright. (And I have an oyster tattoo, I am a passionate oyster consumer) The duck was beautiful cooked and had the most delectable mushrooms. We splurged for the wagyu steak. What. A. Treat. Nothing will literally ever compare. Still thinking about it 24 hours later. Overall, Josephine’s is a must try.

   This was among my top three restaurant experiences anywhere and I’ve eaten fine dining all over the world. I literally could have ordered every dish on the menu and all four and my party were thrilled with each dish and cocktail. Absolute must try if you are from or are visiting Lancaster!

    We dined during Restaurant Week and the food was fabulous as usual. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, accommodated our friend who is gluten sensitive, and was very knowledgeable about the menu offerings that were gluten-free. The only criticism I have, is that our table was near the stairs and the grand piano, and it was so LOUD in that area, we could hardly have a conversation. We usually were seated at tables near the back of the restaurant during previous visits, and now I know to request a table away from the front part of the restaurant. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meals immensely and look forward to coming back to dine at Josephine’s again.
