The Story of Josephine’s
The story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

    Birthday dinner on a Wednesday night, 6:30 pm. For family of four- beautiful space, solid service, 2 had Waygu special at $190 per person, was excellent. The crab cake $54 dinner was fishy and uneaten.

    Josephine's is our favorite restaurant in Lancaster. The service is the best I have ever received. The food is creative, fresh, and has layers of flavor. We love the environment. If you are looking for an elevated dinner, Josephine's is a must!

    Such a special evening celebrating a special birthday. It began with great drinks, to Marilyn Monroe‘s followed by a special menu insert, fabulous food and beautiful music. Thank you for all the efforts and especially to our server Scott.

    We had an amazing experience with friends celebrating a birthday. Our server, Kyle, was awesome, the food outstanding, the service and ambiance 10 out of 10. Altogether a very special night - thank you!

    If you are looking for an excellent and inventive menu, Josephine's is the place. It isn't inexpensive but it is a delicious and lovely dining experience for those special occasions - or just because you deserve it! Our waiter was excellent. We all appreciated him sharing his observations and knowledge. The menu was excellent with plenty of variety - enough to please anyone. And the desserts were extraordinary both in deliciousness and in presentation.

    Our time at Josephine's was pleasant, relaxing and delicious. The food and service was solid and has been consistent the handful of times we've been there in the past year.. we will be back!

    Food was amazing! The butter nut squash soup was AMAZING! It was a little bit noisier than my like but the rest was amazing.
