The Story of Josephine’s
The story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

    Celebrated our 44th anniversary with our first visit to Josephine’s. Heard great things about it and we were not disappointed at all! Food was great, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just right. Our waiter (Hunter) made the whole experience a great one. And the special menu insert was a very classy touch!!

    Wonderful dinner! They do the small things that make a difference. This is the place to go for a very special occasion. Wait staff was beyond compare.

    The Wagyu strip steak was delicious, at a price much more reasonable than another steak house in Lancaster. Service was excellent and enjoyed my visit.

    Wonderful evening at Josephine's. Starters of Camembert Torte and Foie Gras. Mains of Black Cod and Scallops. Lemon meringue for dessert. Everything was great. Excellent friendly, efficient service in a beautiful, refined atmosphere. Prices are high, but the portion sizes are lovely, and the food is delicious. Wine pricing, on the other hand, is really high and the list is just too long with some odd selections. Is this in order to impress Wine Spectator and get an award? Do they not like French white burgundies as they are noticeably under-represented. Reducing wine inventory and bringing prices a bit closer to acceptable should be a goal of management. All-in-all a lovely evening to celebrate an occasion and life in general. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!

    Good food; Very good craft cocktail menu (I recommend the Natalie Wood Martini) & service. Nice vibe - Hollywood in the 50’s; Vegas Rat Pack ambiance. Reminds me of the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. A bit pricey.

    Amazing drinks, food and service. The ambience is lovely with beautiful Christmas decorations and a pianist. The waiter was top notch and the squash soup was the best soup I have ever had. Can’t wait to go back!

    We had a wonderful experience from start to finish! Drinks and food were just phenomenal and our server hunter was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!!

    Josephine’s is one of our favorite places to go for fine dining. Our server, Tate, did a fantastic job. He made our experience even better. Thanks again Josephine’s.
