The Story of Josephine’s
The story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

    Everything was expensive, but it was for a special occasion, and I knew that going in. Our server, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, both in the food and preparation, and for the atmosphere. As expensive as it was for my modest income, I would highly recommend Josephine’s, even if you only go for special occasions! The food, service and experience was definitely worth it!

    Impeccable service and lovely table settings and dining rooms. The menu is not large and heavy on seafood, but each dish we had was incredible. You must try the housemate bacon. Considering the great service and food, I'd say the high price is warranted. And overall, it was a good value considering how excellent it was. Perfect for a special occasion.

    Missed the short rib but several other very desirable choices available. My partner enjoyed the consistently outstanding crab cakes. Salmon oscar, along with accompanying vegetables, was a very enjoyable selection for me.
