The various dishes we ordered were well prepared and excellent. The service was also great, everyone enjoyed the visit and would go back again.

Dined with a few of my employees. We ordered Buffalo Cauliflower, Port Belly and Brussels sprouts Only one that was worthy was the Brussels. Cauliflower was mushy and tasteless of than spicy, Pork Belly should have been crisp and flavorful lacked both. Dinner we had Short ribs excellent Parpadelli pasta OK Salmon tasted days old. I would only return again for pizza or drinks at the bar

This restaurant is amazing! I’m traveling for work and support farm-to-table where possible for so many reasons. I was staying near this restaurant and lucked out. Last night I had the mushroom pappardelle with scallops. That meal was so good that I went back tonight (the next night) and had one of their specials - wild sea bass with saffron couscous and a mushroom, tomato compote followed be a dessert special of cranberry gingerbread with an orange glaze. The service was excellent and the food was beyond good!

Everything at this place is truly amazing. The service is great, the drinks the ambiance and the presentation and taste of the food makes it so hard to pick what I want to eat. I always say if I could afford to eat here every day I really would. Everything is delicious and I’m never disappointed.

The food was meh—nothing was great. The scallop appetizer was overly salty, and generally the appetizers were far too large. The shrimp we hope don’t make us sick—they were rubbery. The pork belly was good, beet salad great. There were no drink specials which would have been a nice touch. The filet was not, despite the upcharge, allowed to be cooked to order—as I prefer rare—it was medium rare and the Parmesan crust offering no flavor, just salt. When we cut into it, the juices ran completely out which made medium rare dry. Asparagus was ok and the odd rutabaga scalloped potato was more suitable for a different flavor profile. Tomatoes were sharp in the pappardelle and peas and tomatoes made no sense in a smooth lobster pasta dish and offered weirdly contrasting sharp bites almost. Desserts were ok-but the raspberry Mille feuille was so bad.. Dry hard pastry that were cookies which were impossible to cut or eat. The raspberry filling was fine--but offered nothing. Pistachio could not be tasted or even noted—only green filling and no pistachios. Crème brûlée was prosaic and serving size of dessert as compared to entrees was inconsistent and paltry. We won’t be back for a while as it was sadly disappointing for a restaurant where we have had good food previously. For the cost— somewhere else would have been better for New Years Eve

First visit to Josie’s Table and it was great. We went for brunch and were very happy with our experience and food. Will return to try some more items in the future.

This was a delicious find! Thought I was going for the brunch menu but ended up being lunch, we were not disappointed. The soup of the day was amazing… garlic and parsnip puree, YUM. Filet sandwich w truffle fries were delish, my friend had goat cheese w apple and onion jam grilled cheese w butternut squash soup… also delish. Espresso martini was the perfect way to cap off a festive holiday get together. We will be back! Thank you for being fresh delicious food to Albany. We need more restaurants like this!
