Jounieh is a contemporary approach to the Middle Eastern culinary tradition.
Perfectly positioned on the Walsh Bay harbour foreshore, this waterside venue takes you on a journey through the distinctive flavours and tastes of its famed namesake – the coastal town of Jounieh in Lebanon.

    Absolutely exceptional experience for lunch today - the food quality the service the ambience everything was on point and the team is to be commended. Strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an excellent Lebanese fine dining value for money meal.

    We came from interstate for a theatre show and wanted to eat nearby, so Jounieh was the perfect location, I was expecting the food to be good, but we were absolutely blown away. The food was impeccable, absolutely flawless, the flavours, textures and presentation were all 10/10. My partner and I both agreed it was the best meal either of us have ever had (we had the banquet with meat). The service was outstanding, so professional, attentive, but not over bearing or in your face, the decor is modern and sleek, gorgeous location, amazing food and brilliant service. 5 stars. We’re already looking at coming back early in the new year just to eat here again!

    The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the location is excellent. It is also quite affordable in relation to the other restaurants in the area.

    Pros: Food was lovely, really nice chicken, lamb shoulder, fresh oysters, and nice dips. Some staff were helpful, including the one who took our picture. Food came out quickly. Cons: Waiter spilled drink all over my, they gave me some towels to clean myself but didnt replace the wet table cloth which i had to fold during dinner, they didnt clean the wine off the floor, and the chair i was sitting on was sticky and they just swapped it with the table next to me, no cleaning, and then seated a set of customers at the table with the sticky chairs. I was pretty uncomfortable for the rest of the meal because of how sticky and gross I felt. Drink replaced, but no apology or anything else offered
