JOURNEY, a unique dining entertainment enterprise, introduces theatrical gastronomy to New York City, with an exciting blend of immersive video installations, fine dining, fashion tech and theatre. Created through the collaboration of a top team culled from the worlds of Broadway, fashion, multi-media and the culinary arts, JOURNEY is a wholly original experience. JOURNEY incorporates 4 unique experiences under one roof: Journey 360, where the visuals transport you from your communal table to five exotic locations for each course of the pre fix meal; Journey Voyager, where the tabletops come to life with stunning images of global travel; Journey Stella Lounge, where entertaining mystery and curiosities await as you enjoy a mix entertainment; and Journey Cafe Frites, where augmented reality brings the dinner plates to life.

                              They closed down permenantly the day after our reservation. The menu was uninteressting and very limited. We understood something was wrong. They did not expect us, the menu was different from the web-pages. After a while we was informed that the resturant had it's last day. The waiter was very helpfull and recomended another resturant. It was perfekt. Good food, good service. Try L' Amico

                              I went there on a Saturday night for a first date, and we had a really nice time. We arrived at around 630 which seems to be early since there were very few people in the dining room. So I think a better time would be around 8 PM, but everything was great including the service and ambience, and the food/cocktails were really good too. The decor is really cool too.

                              The salads were over-dressed and over salted. The fried calamari was dry and so small in portion size and the dressing/dipping sauce was flavorless. The pork belly was black in color, thus visually unsightly...but had good flavor. The bokchoy was clearly overcooked. The apple 'kimchi' was cold and tasted nothing like kimchi. The sword fish was the only shinning star. Great taste, seasoned and cooked well. The side vegetables were pedestrian.

                              When dining at la carte there are only cushions to eat food. Which is very uncomfortable as you have to hunch over just to eat. It looks more of hotel lobby than a dining area.

                              Food and service were excellent. We didn't do the "experience" in the back rooms but ate in the front cafe which was open to the street. Very pleasant, although there was a slight problem with the air conditioning. We were offered a table in the back where it was air conditioned but we declined.

                              Although the restaurant is beautiful, the food was served cold and had very little taste. in addition the guest that I was waiting for was seated outside at a table by himself. Although he made it clear whose reservation it was, she was seated far away from me in a different room. It's only after 15 minutes when he realized something was wrong that he had to go back to the maître d' and say where am I supposed to be seated. He was then taken to an inside room where I was actually seated. This was unnecessary.

                              The creative ambience and service are excellent. he food is good and portion sizes very generous. The price is reasonable.

                              Previous photos not available due to chef who originally was there is no longer there so therefore menu options were a little different. Very nice setting and very attentive
