Julep Bar stands as an illustrious recipient of the prestigious James Beard Award, celebrated for its exquisite blend of craft cocktails, thoughtfully curated bar bites, and an enchanting ambiance. The menus, ever-evolving to mirror the changing seasons, captivate with their meticulous emphasis on fine ingredients and flavors. Located on Washington Ave between Sawyer and Silver St. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and B&B Butcher's Steak House is within walking Distance.

We always take walk-ins so shoot us a texas or stop by and see us if you don't see a table available.

    Last night, we decided to check out Julep after dinner for drinks. Despite being a Friday night, it was surprisingly quiet. With a reservation, we were seated right away, which was nice. The drinks were fantastic—craft and well-balanced. However, service was a bit disappointing. It took about 10 minutes before anyone came by to take our order, and after our initial round, no one returned to check on us. We would have ordered another round or two, but the opportunity never came. After waiting over an hour, we finally just closed our tab on the way out. Great drinks, but service could definitely be improved.

    We went here for cocktails with a group of out of town friends. The atmosphere at Julep was perfect and the drinks were fabulous. The staff was very friendly and the ambience was great.

    GO FOR THE DRINKS! I'm sure the restaurant would have been great overall. I booked a reservation early enough for them to tell me that the majority of the restaurant and bar was reserved for an event. the seating was left over at the bar and made for a poor experience.

    First time. Had a great evening. Started with the Mint Julep, then an Old Fashioned. Lobster Dip was amazing. Will definitely go back!

    Julep is a cute bar. I love the decor. But because it’s a bar I expected my server and the bartender to be more knowledgeable about how to make cocktails. I have a citrus allergy, which can be difficult for a premade bar menu, but I’ve rarely gone to a bar that brands itself like Julep that wasn’t able to produce a cocktail that was a great alternative. The server drew a blank, asked the bartender who said there wasn’t much he could do because of cross contamination. The server enlisted the help of the hostess who offered my a spritzer and eventually a decent white wine. I was disappointed because the whole reason I went was because people told me about the great atmosphere and cocktails. Unfortunately, the cocktails part wasn’t true at all.

    A classic cocktail bar with a welcoming vibe, large leather booths that seat 8 men comfortably. Great music stream. Vintage decor with old tavern feel. Cocktail drinks were creative and the classics were right-on, with dried fruits and garnish was artful. My favorite Dark & Stormy!
