Since we opened this camp 25 years ago, we have focused upon fresh foods for our guests. We know it is difficult to find good meals on the road, especially if you are vegan and vegetarian, and invite you to join us.

You will smell the foods before you walk in, but will see entree's like baby back pork ribs, samosas, ribeye steaks, moussaka, vegan ramen and steamed saffron mussels through our open kitchen. We make easy to assemble fresh bag lunches for the trail, and specialty lunch items for indoor and outdoor dining. Beside items like American breakfast and breakfast burritos you will find signature items like our California breakfast too! All this from fresh, mainly regional sourced, sustainable and some organic healthy foodstuffs.

We invite you to peek into some online reviews in advance. Our breakfast and lunch menus rarely change, however our limited dinner menu does change nightly. This restaurant is family style dining. Accessible restroom, parking and ramp to Cafe.

Thick sliced, with powdered cinnamon sugar, maple syrup and fresh cut fruit
Granola
Homemade oat, nut and dried fruit granola with milk or almond milk, and fresh cut fruit
7 Grain Pancake
7 grain and oats, with maple syrup, and fresh cut fruit
Rolled Oatmeal
Rightly done, with milk or almond milk, raisins and brown sugar, and fresh cut fruit

Handmade Desserts

$5 to $6. 7am – 11pm. You can't miss the dessert box when you pick up your silver and drink at the order counter with your number. If there's only one left you should get it right then. Our fresh cheesecake is what we have been known for since the beginning

The June Bug Cafe has great food at a reasonable price in a grown-up camp atmosphere which is fitting, as the whole Yosemite Bug feels like a really cool, funky summer camp in the woods, for all ages. Big portions, well made, fresh meals. We stayed at a different hotel recently and, after a disappointing breakfast at that hotel, drove to the June Bug for a great, satisfying breakfast the next morning.

Hubby are vacationing in Yosemite area and he found this little gem when searching for a place for us to have dinner. We drove from El Portal to try it out. We were not disappointed at all! The variety of the food was amazing. You would expect the food to be at a 5 star sit down restaurant but this was more of a cafeteria style. It was different but in a really cool and unique way! Would highly recommend!!

Although June Bug was interesting and the service was quite friendly, no order-at-the-counter restaurant should be in Open Table.

The food is very good. Menu changes daily. Times for breakfast lunch and dinner are at scheduled times. You order from a white board at the counter. Your food is delivered to your table and you bus your own dishes. Price is very reasonable. We had prime rib it was delicious.

Food is fantastic, staff is pleasant and professional, atmosphere is rustic and quirky. Had a good sample of offerings over two-day visit: breakfast (2), lunch (1) and dinner (2). All meals were hearty, well put together, and perfectly cooked to my requested liking. Bag lunch (BLT) was thoughtfully packaged in deconstructed manner to ensure produce did not make bread soggy. Overall very satisfied with meals and would certainly recommend to anyone spending time at Yosemite Bug Resort.
