   Not the friendliest service at the bar. The food was decent but not sure I’d go back and pay this much again for it. Very cool ambiance.

   We sat at the "chef's counter" and went with the 6 course tasting menu. The chef's counter is really just bar seating that faces the open kitchen. There was no special attention given to us by the chef or any of the staff really. The first course arrived relatively quickly but after that the meal pacing was extremely slow. We were rarely checked on by staff. All told it took almost 2 hours to finish the meal. We waited at least 15-20 minutes for the main entree to arrive after the prior course of a single seared scallop. It was Sunday and not a busy night. While the chef staff seemed to be consistently working, it was not clear why it took so long for each course to be brought to us. I can only think that the pacing was intentional. If so, you should warn people on the menu to expect a 2 hour meal.

   The experience was really good. God vegetarian options and the kitchen was ready to offer substitutes and was really understanding of dietary preferences. We need this more in other restaurants.

    We ate here Monday, and it was so good we decided to come back Wednesday! We noticed right away that it seemed like an entirely different crew working in the kitchen, at the hostess stand, and as servers. I ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce, but tonight the dish lacked the flavor of the Calabrian chilis. My husband ordered the caccio e pepe. The pasta was good, but was far creamier than other versions we have eaten, almost as if there were cream added to the mix. Zeppole were still good!!
