Kalaveras is a unique fast casual concept with vibrant colors, art, music, and culture of a time honored tradition – El Dia de Los Muertos. A blend of innovative urban mixology, Latin American culinary classics, tribute to well known Hispanic artists, and nothing but buenas vibras!

When you walk into the doors of any of our locations you will be immediately immersed in the sounds, sights and aromas of a celebration! You will hear everything from new Latin Pop, Reggaeton hits, classic cumbias, regional Mexican hits and more to get you in the party atmosphere. You will see our walls adorned with the vibrant colors of El Dia de Los Muertos, as well as beautifully garnished cocktails, and the smells of mouthwatering dishes passing by.

If I could give Kalaveraa 0 stars for the experience last night I would. The margaritas tasted like nothing but syrup in a glass. The service was pretty much non-existent due to one man working while 5 wait staff stood in the outdoor area socializing and joking around while customers tried over and over to get basics like water or a glass. We asked for everything 2-3 times over about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes before we received anything (including basics). No one came back to refill anything we needed. The food was absolutely cold and they overcharged me on the final bill. Luckily, I checked due to how incompetent they all were. The “manager” who was outside socializing and on his phone the entire night told me he’d definitely reversed the extra charge but I’m looking at my bank transactions and it’s still there so now I have to waste time with them again trying to get my money back. This location used to be good and I’ve been there many times. But apparently, it’s gone to the dogs now.

We had a really good dinner at Kalaveras before the theater. We were glad we went early, it did get noisy as it filled up. Two of loved our shrimp enchiladas and flan, two of us loved the tacos and churro sandwich dessert. Will definitely eat there again when we are in the area!

Amazing experience!The flower wall was a lovely touch, and manager Daniella greeted us warmly. The booths are EVERYTHING! Our server Ana, was attentive & we loved the three Birria tacos and shrimp tacos—every bite was bursting with flavor. Viviana knows how to make the perfect beverage with the right balance. Perfect DTLB experience!

Started off kind off iffy but that quickly dissipated when our server got going. Fajitas were amazing. As was the ceviche. Queso was a little to think for my taste but my wife loved it. Also, loved the music, it kept the atmosphere lively.

First time visiting this location and we liked the menu; it has good cocktails and food. The reason for the 4-star rating is that I feel the service needs more attention to customer service. We were seated at a table that wasn't cleaned beforehand, and they need to provide plates, napkins, and utensils to the table. We had to ask multiple times for these in order to start eating our appetizers and food. The place didn't have AC, making it a little warm inside. We had a great time, though, and definitely will be back. The food and drinks were good.

First time here, Celebrating 2 birthdays and the experience could have been a little better. It had its pros and cons definitely. First off we drive from Palm Springs to this restaurant and their AC unit sucked .. it was very HOT inside, they definitely need to invest in a better AC unit or something. Drinks were pretty good. I would definitely come back for the drinks. But the food most likely not . We had a party of 7, and on one of the guest she had a hair in her plate. Very very gross. And the birthday boy had gotten his drinks and food last,& we had to remind them that he did not have his food yet when everybody else was already half ways into their food, which was pretty disappointing. I would just say service could have been wayyyy better considering all the money and tip that we paid .

Food was delicious and drinks did not disappoint! Had made a reservation just in case but forgot about it by the time we walked in because we were greeted and seated right away.
