Unfortunately, they overbooked the place so when we got there, they told us we had an hour to eat and free up the table. Because we were a 530 reservation, we didn’t have to wait for our table. After an hour, our food hadn’t even come out so it didn’t really matter. I felt bad for the people behind us and it’s kind of brutal to feel rushed when you’re spending this kind of money. our server was great. The food was just OK. Again. I think they just had way too many people coming through there.

Service was slow and not proactive. For example, we had to grab forks from an empty table when our desert arrived and we still did not have forks 10 mins later. Irish coffee arrived with no whip cream and had to walk it back to the bar to ask them to add the whip cream.

Overall the experience was terrific. A couple of things to note. First there is a “21+” area which is upstairs and has a distinctly sophisticated feel to it. The downstairs is more geared to families. Next the food was outstanding. We had a trio of dips with pita the crab meatballs for an appetizer and we all decided on the salmon and a side of mushrooms. The portions are on the larger side so we had plenty even though we shared. The majority of the servers were attentive and friendly. We ate in a leisurely pace and we did not feel rushed. Having said this, if I had to rate this restaurant exclusively on service I would rate it a 2 or 3. Our waiter came to take our order and explained the specials and the favorites. We put in our entrees and were about to ask for drinks but our server took off to help another table. We had to flag him down to order our drinks about 5 min later. He returned with the drinks and then apologized that the sea bass special was sold out—even though it was 5:45 pm. We ordered the salmon instead. Our appetizer had generous portions of dip but only came with a few pieces of pita for dipping. We asked a server took off get us more which they did but our server was nowhere to be seen. He did not check on us during the meal to see if we needed anything or refill our waters. At the end of our meal we were given the wrong check. For an upscale place we were surprised.

We had a great dinner at Kaneo. The ambience is beautiful. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We look forward to dining here again

Great help in making sure our daughter with a peanut allergy could eat all the courses we ordered. Staff were very knowledgeable on food allergies. Appetizers were excellent. Main courses were good. Cocktails were excellent. Very friendly and attentive service and a nice ambiance. If anything needs to be improved it would be the entrance since cold air does flood through the room when large groups come in.

Hi. We had 7 for a Christmas Eve dinner. Four of our entrees were not edible. The fish special fish was mushy. My green beans were cold as if blanched and straight from the fridge, the duck special for $65 each of which we had two had polenta that wasn’t recognizable and the duck so-so. This was honestly the worst group dinner experience I’ve ever had. So disappointing as it was a special family occasion. The wait staff offered free deserts which was very nice of them. So they did their best. Last comment is that 3 of us were sick to our stomachs that night as well. Such a bummer.

Overall was lovely. A few hiccups. Service not as smooth as it should’ve been for a meal that ended up being $100 per person. Delicious although I would not recommend the whole Bronzino as once it was the bones, the portion was very small. The Mediterranean salad was excellent, plentiful and very flavorful. $24 for hummus with a few vegetables and a few pieces of pita bread was a lot to spend. The hummus was delicious and it could’ve been served with more vegetables with more variety and more creativity in presentation. Lamb chops were plentiful and good. Salmon and especially the white bean purée under it was delicious and nicely presented. The waiter could have been kinder and more accommodating and patient. We had to ask for them to refill our water and they should have been able to see that our glasses were empty. The fish came, but we then had to wait for someone to come to the table to debone it. The salad arrived and the beet salad both delicious but they were put on our table without serving pieces so we had to ask for that. The food arrived pretty promptly. I think for $100 per person. There are other restaurants I would go to next time.

Decided to eat at upstairs bar. Santiago did an amazing job taking care of food and cocktails. He was friendly and very knowledgeable on any questions we had about the menu. The branzino and duck breast were each cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant!

They need to change their boring piano music and play Mykonos lounge music. Such great food with a modern Mediterranean lounge vibe and piano 1970 music don’t go together. Still I recommend it 100%
