    One of Scotland’s leading chefs, Tom Kitchin is proprietor of The Kitchin in Edinburgh’s Leith waterfront, which was awarded a Michelin Star in 2007, just six months after opening, making Tom Scotland’s youngest Michelin-starred chef proprietor at the age of just 29. The Kitchin has since retained its Michelin star, as well as becoming Scotland’s only restaurant to receive 5 AA Rosettes in 2015. For One Night Only, we are delighted to collaborate with Tom Kitchin, do join us for an amazing night. Please Note: The event will start at 6:45pm

    Romy Gill MBE Romy Gill, a British-Indian chef, food writer, author, and broadcaster, was appointed an MBE in the Queen's 90th Birthday Honours list. She previously served as the Chef Patron of Romy's Kitchen in South Gloucestershire and has gained extensive experience in television and radio, including various presenting and co-presenting roles. Gill is also the author of several successful cookbooks: "Zaika," "On The Himalayan Trail," and her latest work, "Romy Gill's India." On January 16th, she will delight our Kanishka audience with dishes from her new book that savours the authentic tradition of Indian home cooking.

    We had the most amazing dinner at a great Magical Monday value. We travel frequently and have enjoyed Indian food in major cities around the world and this was the best we’ve ever had. They catered to my youngest daughter’s preferences with a 3-course kids meal and service was kind and impeccable. This place is a gem that I will go out of my way to visit again on future trips to London and recommend highly to friends.

    We really enjoyed our dining experience at Kanishka. I have Atul Kochars recipe book of curries from around the world and we love to cook from it so it was a real pleasure to eat at his restaurant. Highly recommended!

    We had an absolutely brilliant evening at Kanishka's. The food was delicious, and there was so much included within the festive menu. The staff were so friendly and helpful all the time, and the chef came around to the table to say hello which was a really nice touch. I am gluten free and I also felt a huge effort was made to ensure that I was having the GF options and all was safe for me. The creme brulee was absolutely amazing! Would recommend the daal and the butter chicken, the chef has made these 2 dishes in a way I have never had before. Also the lamb and monkfish starters were incredible. Great restaurant, thank you.

    I really love this place, I've been here a few times and will definitely keep coming back. The service is excellent - extremely professional, but friendly and relaxed at the same time. The food is SO delicious, you could order anything and know it's going to be amazing. The cocktails and wines are also very well curated. Highly recommended!

    Magical Monday menu was excellent value with good portion sizes and choices. The dishes have a variety of flavours and textures. The service is friendly and efficient. This restaurant is well worth visiting.

    Don’t bother coming here for brunch. The place looks lovely but style over substance. As soon as we were seated we were asked what we would like for our main course. Before any water or drinks had been offered or before the selection of starters had been provided - weird! As we had the bottomless brunch the waiter just poured the wine didn’t even show me the bottle. The starters were mediocre at best and room temperature. No condiments were provided and the starters were dry. We had to ask for condiments. The main course was ok. However, the nan was cold and we had to ask for another nan to be hot. End of meal asked for coffee as wife is lactose intolerant requested any other type of milk substitute. The manager stated that they never had any milk alternatives and mainly sold teas. Again the teas were not offered or recommended. I think if you’re spending this sort of money and with a name like Atul Kochhar above the door you expect better food and service!

    Great foods as always - but why are the tables so close together and cramped in. And when people were taken to tables always seem to pack them in on one side instead of giving people a bit more room.

    Normally never leave reviews but my family was very much looking forward to this meal. Being Indian, I was appalled at how bad the food was. The butter chicken was like a bad tomato soup. Very disappointed and not very tasty. On top of that, the prices for the amount of food was not great value. Service and location were great, just could not overcome the food.
