   I really wanted to love this spot! Based off of reviews we decided to try it out for my birthday dinner. The first impression: modern vibes, fine dining, with beautiful views of Lake Boca. We sat at the bar first for a pre dinner cocktail. There was only one bartender and despite the place being rather empty when we arrived, it took a long time to receive our drinks. We had to ask for a glass of water and forget getting a second round. We ordered a few apps to share and we each ordered a sushi roll. The fried rice and the dumplings were honestly the only edible, enjoyable items we had all evening. We had to send back the tuna tartar as it tasted like canned tuna, super fishy- not how decent fish should taste. When we sent it back the waiter replied “you should have used the sauce on the side”. No we should not have to disguise the taste of the fish with sauce. We had to ask for water and refills many times. It seemed as if our waiter was disinterested and/or annoyed the entire time. All the rolls we had were subpar, truly had to be covered in sauce to have any taste. Very plain. Overall disappointing experience. I truly wanted to like this place, but in the future I will stick with what I know: Yakitori and Sushi by Bou hands down.

   Outstanding dining experience at Kasumi for my husband’s Birthday. Food delicious , service expert, decor upscale and beautiful. They even remembered the candle in our dessert, requested in our reservation. Pricey but worth it for such fine dining.

   This is our second time within a month . Our waiter Scott is so phenomenal he makes your dinner extra special and he pays attention to detail !!!! The food is excellent and best sushi in Boca and trust me we search ! Views are great - chefs are excellent ! We will be back …..,,, often Debbie Weisman

   A beautiful restaurant - elegant The food was highly creative, fresh and delicious. One caveat - be careful when ordering rolls and entrees with spicy mayo and hot chili sauce, they are very hot. Otherwise enjoy.

    I had a wonderful experience as Kasumi. A few hours prior to my reservation, the hostess called and informed me, my seating preference wasn’t able to be accommodated due to inclement weather (very thoughtful) they still gave us a nice table inside near the window. We had the pleasure to be served by Jamica. She very very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured our glasses were never half empty without refilling them. Food quality was great and very fresh. The manager greeted us by name , during our entrees to ensure we were having a great time . For an elevated dining experience, do yourself a favor and check out Kasumi !
