Katherine’s was pleasant surprise. Our waitress Pate was pleasant and timely. The steak Au Poivre was fantastic. The only minor negative was that the Brussels Spouts were roasted too crispy. CT was an excellent host. Highly recommend and will go back again!

The temperatures of our meats were confused. Hamburgers were under cooked and so was one of the steak entrees.

The perfect place to celebrate a 77th Birthday! Fortunately, we were seated in the corner booth, so the sound was more muffled against the wall rather than all around. Still needed to talk loud. BUT the food was delectable! Mussels, beet salad, Caesar Salad, Flounder, Risotto, Salmon were excellent, and the Tiramisu did not disappoint! All in all, it was a most lovely elegant evening. Thank you to the great service by wait staff and servers

It took 45 minutes for the kids' food to be served, and the excuse given was that the kitchen was running behind. However, when the food finally arrived, it was almost cold. On Valentine’s Day could have planned it better to accommodate people who already made the reservation

It was Valentine’s Day and they were overwhelmed. Very nice people but forgot to come serve us, forgot to clear the dirty plates, forgot our flatware. You had to ask for all of it. Big hunk of cream cheese in my “salmon rillettes.” Salmon entree was way overcooked - requested “as the chef would prepare it”

We ate at Katharine Brasserie last night for the 2nd time in 2 months. It is an attractive restaurant, like a traditional French Brasserie. Food here ranges from solid to very good indeed. I had the steak au poivre last night. The strip steak was very good but the sauce was very salty and not quite the traditional preparation. My wife had mussels frites and she was happy. Wines we ordered by the glass were $17 or $22 per glass and they were very good and lived up to the price. Service here is very spotty so this is a weak spot. I wanted to ask for some bread and someone wanted another drink but our server was honestly mostly nowhere to be found. Dinner was over $350 before tip for 4 people and we absolutely did not go crazy with drinks. I think that is a substantial tab and I would like very attentive service for that price. My wife probably won't want to return after 2 dinners that left us with mixed emotions.
