Bienvenidos to Kavas Tacos + Tequila, the vibrant Mexican restaurant bringing good food and vibes to International Drive conveniently located near the Orange County Convention Center, SeaWorld and Universal Studios theme parks. You’ll love our diverse menu with Tex-Mex flavors and playful takes on Mexican street fare, carefully curated by the same team behind Tapa Toro and Taverna Opa Orlando.     I went to celebrate my birthday with a party of 10 people . It took forever just to get waters . I was the first to order my food and never received it . The waitress never came back to check on the table and by the time we called someone over my boyfriend and I had shared his meal and I was no longer hungry . The manager brushed us off initially when we flagged him down . When he came back he just offered me a desert . I declined the desert and entree because we were heading out after dinner and I was not carrying around a to go bag for the reminder of the evening . This is also the second time this has happened to a large party I was included in . My friend also ordered the birthday shots they are known for as they do a fun presentation with sparklers and a personalized sign . When they brought mine out they did not do the sign for me . When I questioned the waitress about it she said they were setting the sign up for another group and wouldn’t let her use it for me . I was very disappointed over all .

    We apologize that the server made a mistake and left out your entree order. The manager at the time was assisting another guest in ordering with a severe allergy and coordinating that with our kitchen for their safety. He did offer to bring out the entree free of charge or bring a dessert, which was declined. Once he learned your party ordered shots, so he took care of yours. Our birthday package is available with the purchase of the Sundae el Carnavale only.

    Loved Kavas the first time I came, the music was lit and they were playing reggaeton and fun Spanish music. This time was great in terms of food, our server was nice and the show was nice as well BUT all the DJ was playing was techno.. yes.. techno-.- Like what?! It’s a Mexican restaurant playing techno on a Saturday night. Not the VIBEEE. Came here a second time because of how fun the ambience was the first time and the music was lively. Went for a birthday today. That part was a lot of fun! The servers come get up on the table and give out shots! It was fun! My only complaint was the techno (at a Mexican restaurant). Techno is great but not for this environment.

    I had an amazing time there the staff was very attentive and friendly. The music was absolutely amazing especially when the mariachi band came and played for us. The food was okay I got a burrito bowl and bottomless margaritas.

    Very accommodating. When making reservations at first said two guests but really was for 5. Oops. Without hesitation we got a table and the best service and energy throughout dinner. Server was helpful with menu and what else to do around the area. 10/10 coming back here
