Kennett Restaurant in Philadelphia has been around since 1924. Today, it is well known for the wood-fire oven used to make the many pizzas on the menu with ingredients like ginger-green curry, fresh rigatoni pasta, mozzarella and Sicilian olives.
The sides at Kennett Restaurant are also very popular. There are hand-cut fries with sea salt, beer-brined pork loin, house-cured bacon and breakfast potatoes. Even the beans on toast are done up with a thick brioche and topped with a fried free range egg. For dessert at Kennett Restaurant, try the sticky toffee pudding, chocolate bark or root beer float. You can even add Art in the Age Root Liquor to that last option. This restaurant also serves espresso and cappuccino.
