Fans of Greek and Cypriot cuisine will be very fond of Ketty’s Taste of Cyprus on Prospect Street in Caversham. Not far from the centre of Reading, Ketty’s is a lively and inviting restaurant with enough space for all the family or a big group of friends. The menu is made up of some excellent appetizers such as taramosalata – a creamy blend of smoked cod roe, olive oil and lemon juice; koupes – cracked wheat shells filled with minced pork and herbs and imam bayildi of sauteed aubergines, red peppers, onions and courgettes marinated in garlic and herbs. For the main event, you can order some mixed meze to share or alternatively choose from dishes straight off the charcoal grill with meat, seafood, fish, and veggie options in abundance. With excellent dessert and wine options, why not make a night out of it at Ketty’s very, very soon?
