Bringing Tokyo-chic to Jericho, KIBOU Oxford on 11-12 Little Clarendon Street fuses vibrant Japanese dining with great design. Expect stunning murals, floral installations, and neon-lit booths in our stylish dining areas, including an open sushi kitchen, cocktail lounge, and lush Japanese garden.
Our diverse menu features beautifully crafted moriawase sushi and sashimi platters, A5 grade wagyu, hearty ramen, crispy tempura and pillowy bao buns, alongside vegan options, teriyaki, katsu curry and a range of Japanese-inspired puds.

Teishoku is a traditional Japanese set meal comprising of a: Main plate + Sides + Rice + Soup At KIBOU, our lunchtime Teishoko menu includes classics such as prawn tempura, chicken teriyaki or veggie katsu curry. Served with a bowl of furikake rice, edamame beans, pickles, yamagoyaki (Japanese omelette), goma wakame, and a bowl of homemade miso soup. Available Monday to Friday from 12pm to 3.30pm - for just £17.50

Beautifully presented 3-tiered Japanese-inspired afternoon tea, featuring tasters of some of our most popular dishes alongside other traditional Japanese sweets. Dive into classics such as tempura prawn California roll, salmon tataki with mango salsa and sea bream nigiri, followed by decadent shichimi chocolate tart, cinnamon & apple gyoza and traditional custard dorayaki with strawberry compôte. Priced at £23 per person - served with a choice of Japanese teas and infusions as standard – such as delicately fragrant jasmine or the sweet and nutty notes of genmaicha – green tea with toasted brown rice. Lovely friendly waiting staff. Jasmine looked after us and was great! Menu was a little more limited than I remember from Kibou in Cheltenham, but food was nice. Cocktails delicious and decor beautiful

Ambience was good, service was good, would love to see less choices of deep fried dishes but more refreshing and sashimi and sushi choices. The dynamite prawns was on the too salty side. Overall experience was really good. Just grateful of having Asian food in Oxford. ❤️

Interesting restaurant , bright lights and a large menu we needed help navigating. Worth checking what order the food arrives. If you want a bit of everything then book for lunchtime rather than evening. Take a jumper as it was quite cold on an evening in February

Plenty of choice, without impacting the quality. Everything we had was delicious and the service was brilliant, even though it was fully booked and a Saturday night.

Amazing food! Plenty of vegan options, which was one of the main reasons for booking. Very attentive and helpful staff. Overall a lovely meal.
