Embracing the hospitality and spirit of the Greek islands, Kiki on The River is heralded for it meticulously-scuffed elegance that only a windswept waterfront garden can provide. Weekdays, join us for romantic waterfront dining by celebrated Chef Steve Rhee. On weekends kicking off Friday nights, Mykonos comes to Miami with live DJ and a party atmosphere featuring a festive soundtrack, twirling napkins, and dancing that will make you say "opa!"

                                Upon arriving for my reservation, I was turned away at the door by the bouncer because they had a closed toe shoe policy and despite wearing expensive leather flip-flops, he told me I couldn’t come in. They sent me to the target 10 minutes away to get shoes, turns out that target doesn’t sell shoes so I went to the Ross upstairs and bought a pair of loafers. Upon returning, and after a few good laughs, sat down at my table was offered water by my waiter, water arrived, and then I didn’t see him again for over 30 minutes. Between the aggravation of having to go buy shoes before dinner and sitting in a table for 30 minutes without any service, I decided to leave and go to another restaurant. I don’t feel the pictures on their website accurately depict the restaurant which definitely has an Instagram club type vibe. The website pictures make it look like a Serena and Lily catalog and relaxing on the river. You couldn’t see the river because of two big boats at the dock blocking it. I requested a table on the water which in fairness they said they could not guarantee but put us at a table as far away from the water as possible. I will say the bouncer and valet were very kind, but after going there twice eating, no food having to buy a new pair of loafers and not meeting one other staff member I cannot with good conscience recommend going to this restaurant.

                                We took a trip with our family to Miami and when we booked this reservation we didn’t realize it would be more of an adults food/ party destination. Regardless, the staff and service was impeccable.. food was insanely good, they were so accommodating and attentive, my kids would drop a fork and before I could ask, one would be replaced. Table reset constantly, drinks always full. Views/ table scapes 10/10. Thank you for unforgettable experience!

                                Don’t bother making a reservation. Was not even seated at reservation time. Was told to wait an hour after my party arrived on time. Terrible service!

                                It’s like eating overpriced less than subpar food in the middle of a club which is fine if that’s what you are expecting but don’t expect to be able to have a conversation with the person sitting with you.
