Kim Son at Sugar Land located in Stafford has a secret ingredient. The secret is “Mama La” who contributes an extensive knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine. She has literally memorized more than 250 recipes that were passed down to her. The original Kim Son was actually located in Vietnam but the need to flee from the communist takeover meant starting over in America. Vietnam’s loss but America’s gain! Kim Son at Sugar Land offers lunch and dinner menus along with a wedding and banquet menu perfect for gatherings. One of the house specialties at Kim Son at Sugar Land is the triple delight, an ultimate combo of honey-glazed shrimp, chicken and beef fajitas with an array of sides that complement perfectly. The black pepper crab featuring a sautéed blue crab is available in limited supply each day.
