In its bright and charming setting, Kimo Sushi in Rockville serves some of the area's finest sushi and other Japanese-inspired creations with options to suit most any palate. The kaki fry breaded and fried oysters and the steamed vegetable gyoza dumplings are served with sauces and make exceptional starter options. Some of Kimo Sushi's kitchen entrées include the Japanese curry fried rice with root vegetables and egg in a thick and sweet sauce, the tempura udon soup with thick noodles and crispy shrimp and veggie tempura pieces and the crispy breaded chicken katsu cutlet. Diners also adore the specialty sushi rolls, like the Pink Panther with spicy tuna, peanuts and avocado in soy paper, the sweet potato tempura roll and the spicy beach roll with spicy scallop and cucumber topped with lobster salad and mango sauce.For a sweet finale, enjoy Kimo Sushi's banana tempura with pomegranate ice tea.
