At Kindling we believe that great steak should be for everyone. Located in the heart of Brighton, our restaurant offers a laid-back dining experience with great value, quality beef cooked over charcoal and live fire.
Our open kitchen lets you see all the action up close. Witness the skill and passion of our team as they cook your steak to perfection.

We focus on quality and value, creating a casual environment that makes everyone feel at home. Kindling is perfect for casual business lunches, family get-togethers and catch-ups with friends.

Our menu is simple but spot-on. It features grass-fed British beef and delicious cocktails, wines, and beers that perfectly complement your meal. On Sundays and Mondays, we serve our Sharing Roast for two alongside our regular menu.

    Best steak in Brighton. Tables are small, but the food is exquisite, the staff is lovely, and the ambiance is quiet casual. We enjoyed every moment and will return with friends!

    Very enjoyable lunch, steak was tasty and the sticky toffee was lovely. Would have got a 5 star if the food sides were hotter. Service was great and would definitely go back when next in Brighton.

    Nice menu options, staff were friendly - and the steak itself was really good. But for the prices and to improve I would - make tables higher compared to seats - shine wine glasses - leave water on the table OR pay attention and fill it up - dessert was yummy but cold (molten cake and sticky toffee)

    Went there for a lunch. Great lunch deal, service was good and attentive. Bavette stake was delicious as the burger. Mac & cheese a little overcooked but the sauce was yummy! Highly recommended
