    All and all the expertise was good. The food pacing for the valentines menu wasn’t fantastic, some dishes came out immediately, others took a bit longer than normal. Felt like we were a number to be pushed out more than a guest. All and all it was a decent experience, but on the more expensive side. Value wasn’t fantastic but food was good.

    The Valentines set quality is poor, wagyu beef texture like rubber, with the sauce which is not even suitable with the beef. Sushi quality is fair. However, the quality of the wine for food pairing is poor as it is either sour or bitter. Overall, the set is overpriced and no next time.

    We had a bad experience dining at KINKA. Dinner time seems busy because of party group and winterlicious. I wasn't sure that they were short of staffed or just my server was bad. When we get there, he didn't even say hi, just pour water and disappear for a long time. Me and my husband understand and waited for him to come back, because he seems busy with group party. Unfortunately we rarely saw him during our dinner. Drink was served after 30 mins. We were thinking to order one more dish, so we look for him, but he dropped the menu and never show up, so at the end, we decided to not order. We were pretty disappointed with his service, so as soon as we finish our meal, we asked him for the bill, i said i will pay with cash, and ask him to break a 50dollar bill for the tips, he charged about 35%tips by himself, and gave me 15 dollars cash back. I know it could be his mistake, but we were already unhappy with his service, it turned worst. Good foods, good vibes, but need to improve server’s service quality. I don't think i will come back, if i need to look for server every single time. It was a really bad experience.

    Food was great overall but service was rushed for customers to get out as fast as possible and fit a new table. At some point, the chef started yelling things out from behind the counter and never stppped until the end of our dinner. I don’t know whether it was supposed to be part of the ambience but it was very annoying to hear every minutes.

    We had the Omakase menu for Lunar New Year, and it was amazing! The food was super delicious, and the quality was definitely worth the price. Totally worth trying!

    The service is terrible. The server would not seat us at the table we wanted because the table was reserved but we also have a reservation. The food was bland and the vibe of the restaurant is not what it used to be. Very disappointed.
