Kintan is the first authentic Japanese style yakiniku in London. Yakiniku is a Japanese term that literally translates to “grilled meat.” It has a long-standing history and a strong presence in Japanese cuisine. Our restaurant features a built-in smokeless roaster at each table which enables fun and interactive dining where our guests become the chefs.

The experience fell well below expectations. From the moment we arrived, we had to raise our hands to request basic service constantly. The table was so dirty we ended up cleaning it ourselves with hand wipes. Several dishes lacked flavour, leaving much to be desired. While the staff were fantastic and clearly working hard, they were stretched too thin to provide adequate service. The dining area was uncomfortably cold due to the air conditioning, forcing my wife to wear her coat throughout the meal. To top it off, the restroom was in poor condition—dirty and without any paper for drying hands. This visit was a stark contrast to our previous experience, which we had thoroughly enjoyed. Sadly, the overall quality of the service, food, and environment has significantly declined since then. It wasn't very pleasant.

The waitress, Kaho, was very friendly and polite. Her omotenashi was truly Japanese serving. The service was better than before. We were very happy. The food was good usually. But some marinated liquid was salty. Overall we had a good time❤️

Great experience, amazing food. Brought couple friends who were at the Japanese bbq for the first time and they loved the experience.

The staff were great kind and very helpful. They stopped to help when called and fully explained how long it would take for all the meat to be cooked Which was great.

The service was impeccable, the meats were well seasoned and had a lot of flavour. The fries had the perfect amount of salt. There was a lot of variety of meats and different Japanese food. The bimbap was delicious. I told them that it was my frie as birthday and they made her a little red velvet cake to celebrate.

Excellent food, the quality of meat was very good, the meat kept coming!! Really good value for your money . The grand menu which was really good. Great vibe!!!
